Downtown Frederick transforms into a winter wonderland for our annual Christmas Parade, a festive spectacle of themed floats, decorated vehicles, and cheerful walking groups organized by the Chamber! But the holiday fun doesn't stop there – stick around after the parade because we're spreading even more cheer by giving away over $2000 in Chamber Bucks, just in time for your holiday shopping right here in Frederick!

Our community comes alive with creativity as local businesses, organizations, and families deck their floats with dazzling lights, festive themes, and plenty of holiday spirit. From marching bands filling the air with joyful tunes to kids waving excitedly from passing cars, it's a heartwarming spectacle that brings everyone together to celebrate the most wonderful time of the year right here in our charming downtown.

But the excitement doesn't end when the last float rolls by! Stick around after the parade for a golden opportunity to boost your holiday shopping power. We're thrilled to be giving away over $2000 in Chamber Bucks, encouraging you to support our local businesses and find those perfect gifts right here in Frederick. 2025 Christmas Parade

and Chamber Bucks Giveaway

The Frederick Chamber of Commerce is excited to host the 2025 Christmas Parade in downtown Frederick.

Businesses are encouraged to decorate for the “Best Decorated Business in Town” competition. In addition, the Christmas committee will be holding a “Best Decorated Home in Town” competition. So, get out those twinkle lights, Santas, or reindeer and get to decorating…. after Thanksgiving of course. There will be a prize awarded in each competition.

The Christmas Parade will be on Thursday, December 18th at 5:30 p.m.  The parade route will begin at 8th & Grand, traveling East down Grand Ave., turning South onto Hwy 183 towards the Cenex for more space for floats and entries this year.  

Businesses, non-profits and organizations are all encouraged to enter a float or exhibit in the Christmas Parade.  You can find entry forms and rules at https://www.frederickokchamber.org/christmas_in_frederick.html. 

Be sure to head to KYBE Radio or a sponsoring business after the parade for the Chamber Bucks Giveaway. Last year over $4,000 in Chamber Bucks was given away. Participating sponsors will begin giving out tickets on Monday, November 25th for every $10 you spend with them.
